He got a nice crooked slice in his leg. about 6-8 inches long....27 stitches and some nice bruising. Haven't taken any pictures with the stitches yet but he got a shot right before the stitches and is it ugleee!

2010** New Year's Resolutions.... They are in my head right now....will get to writing them down before teh 2nd...so hopefully they will get worked on this year and into the NEW DECADE! Whew!... a new Decade? Time has really gone by way too fast. Let's make every moment Count!

Baby's First Santa

This is just what we expected! Dad did the same thing when he was a baby.
Right on Santa's lap...step away for the picture and WAAAAaahhhhh! aaahhhh !
Oh the poor thing. Mom loved the pictures!
We had a very nice time at the ward Christmas Party. Listening to the Tremble Clefs,
Family Band, and singing carols.................. This year it was hard for mom to get in the Christmas Spirit! There were plenty of Opportunities, parties and overall love.....But somthing was just not coming together......She is excited for a whole New Year for Improvement and Growth.

What a cute Pair

Mom is not the best when it comes to Halloween.....so I was feeling kinda gloomy.....either that or I had an ear infection....not quite sure. I've had constant trouble with my ears now and i'm tired of it. This year I had a few parties go to. Bella's, Mike's, Trunk or Treat,& Halloween night! I want over to my buddy's house and we were the cutest pair. Too bad mom didn't think of entering us in the cutest couple Category! No Candy for me this year so I just played with my glow stick!

Allergic reaction

So today we found out that the little one is allergic to Amoxicillin. He has been taking it for last 5 days for an ear infection. This morning when he woke up I noticed 3 large bumps on his check, the looked like big pimples. The first thing that came to mind was oh no Chicken Pox. But as time went on he got more and more and the started turning into welts. So into the doctor we went. Poor guy, hope he gets better soon. Luckily the welts haven't been bothering him, at least for now.

Camping

This last weekend we went camping. We went to Big Basin Redwood State Park, up in the mountains above Santa Cruz. The area had nice campgrounds with lots of BIG Redwood trees. We tried to keep the little one contained to a blanket but he had other things on his mind, like eating dirt and leaves. So we spent most of our time making sure he stayed on the blanket, or in our arms. We had a big rain storm a few days earlier so the ground was pretty wet and muddy.

At night it got a little cold, good thing Mom made him a nice sleeping bag. He loved playing in it.

Learning how to stand

I'm not camera Shy at all...I like seeing my reflection in the big lens!

I like to crawl into new spaces. The enclosure make me feel safe.

I also like to crawl out.....and back in again.

So the last month I have been working on my sitting and standing. I can pull myself up on my knees pretty easy, but getting to my feet is a little harder.

It has gotten a little cold here so can finally where my cool coat Aunt Sandy got me. I gotta say I'm a hunk.

I like the toy that Jamey and Debbie gave me, i pretty much have all the levers and buttons down. And it works great for pulling myself up. I can also use in to hang out and look around at the doggies.

I have been secretly standing in my crib seeing how far over the rail I can hang, (when I'm supposed to be sleeping) but Mom caught me one night and made Dad lower the mattress. I can still stand but no climbing out..... at least for now.

A Boy's best friend

Lovin to watch the dogs thru the screen and yes
they are loving to get to know him better too.
His legs kick and he squeels and gurgles at them. The little bugger gets so excited
to see and be close to the dogs that he sometimes...gets on
all fours and bonks his head into the glass door.
This time I think Rusty licked his nose.....

I was feeding the dogs and cleaning up in the backyard and
there he was wanting to be right up close to the dogs. He got so close that
he smuushed his nose to the glass..... I had to recreate this
by feeding the dogs a little extra so they would keep him
occupied while I ran to get the camera and snap a few.
Not the most flattering but Funny.

He likes to help feed the dogs. Watches them as they run back and forth in the yard. He twist one way then the other just to keep track of them both as they run in opposite directions.

Bleubbers & Rasberries

Too Cute! I got a bleubber from Jaxon tonite. After dinner we were going thru our bedtime routine and he leaned into my face and bleubbered on my lips. It was a surprise to me...a wet surprise. I replied with a bleuber on his cheek and he replied with another on my lips. We've never kissed him on his lips before...but we have given him countless bleubbers and rasberries in his lifetime.

Sunday Firsts

Today at Church Mr. Speed Racer was lying on the floor, where he could try to get a snooze in. But he had something else in mind. During the Opening prayer, I closed my eyes and I could hear him scooting around. By the time the prayer was over is was up to the row in front. I had seen his toes a kicking one minute then the next they were gone. The Owens passed him back to me and within a few minutes he was back up there. So they watched him during Sacrament. He even unzipped Bro. Owens breifcase while he was entertaining himself on the floor.

It was a nice break to have someone else hold him as he wiggled all over the place. Especially since he found his voice and is starting to squeal! Thank goodness for the foyer. Bro Owens took him there during Sacrament and Kim took him out during Sunday School. It was an enjoyable Sunday to be able to listen to the lessons and Testimonies.

my life is everchanging

No sooner had we gotten the rolling over mastered, did little Mister learn that he could move his body in other directions. He's been pivoting on his belly, rocking on his knees, scooting and army crawling for a few weeks. Now he's getting quicker and not so shy about his movements. He knows what he wants and goes right toward it. I love the toys that make noise.. that way I know where he is...once I hear silence then I have to go looking for him and find him where he ought not to be.. He's moving with a purpose now. He loves playing under the table.

Little Bubba has also learend that he can make noise with his toys. I heard a chink chink and there he was hammering away at his little tool bench.

Still Every thing goes in the Mouth.

**Yeah 6 Months**
We started on Solid food....well mushy cereal.
Last week- Rice
This week- Oatmeal

He is doing very well. he has been watching us eat for some time now and loves eating himself. The spoon comes and he opens his mouth.
He likes it thicker instead of runnier. It also is less messy, So I like it too.

Okay so who said that once they start on solids they can get backed up? Ever since he started solid food he's been a poopin machine.
It's thicker so we are not getting the blowouts we used to.
Thank goodness.

The other night I decided He is old enough to sleep through the night and has done so a few times so...that is our new goal.

Pretzzel Time!

We have fun when Family comes to visit. We go places and do things. Have experiences to tell about later...like traffic in the city...when you go DOWN-Town. Oh traffic was terrible....worse when you have a caravan because then you worry about them making lights and being able to follow and keep up. My blood pressure as a passenger went up! Driving in circles trying to find parking. My stomach was in knots as we'd come to an intersection, get a green then have to wait for slow peds. and bikers. I cannot imagine how the drivers were doing............... aaaahhhhhh But we made it to some great sites.

After all the fun in the city we needed to relax.......So we made Pretzels.. we tied these in knots instead of our tummies...but the were yummmm yum in our tummies! We did tell Sydney we were making pretzels...not pizza. Phillips were the most uniform. But they were all so yummmy! oh I said that already.

Some BODY is Growing up!

We've got some Cutching up to do....!
Aside from sticking everything in his mouth "Lil Booger" is becoming very grown up. He has started grabbing what ever we have in our hands and sticks in his mouth, slobbers and just makes icky! He's not really drinking but it's impressive for 4 months

Going to School with all this technology...and because Daddy is on the computer all day. "lil Booger just wants to show off that he can type with his index fingers just like Dad.

Still Chomping away and loving every minute of it!

It Happened One Night

A Rockin and a Rollin all night long. Our little baby is rolling all over! It happened almost overnight. Last week it was an accidental roll into the crib slats without much control. A scoot here and there on the floor, in the crib. He has now discovered he can move around. To get a better view of the TV, get closer to toys, and get lots of attention from mom and dad.

Last Minute Trips are always fun!

We needed to Get out of Town! so we packed up Friday night to Go CAMPING....with the dogs and a baby? yup! We headed north where we were hoping for cooler weather and different scenery. We found a Great camping at Sugarloaf state park, North past Sonoma.
He loved the fresh scenery as we were unpacking and setting up and did not put up a fuss..he just watched with interest and wonder. He's becoming more inquisitive and mobile lately. Roly polly. So we just figured he could roll around on the mattressin the tent. and yes he was content.

Mom Chopped the wood for the Fire! Kindling and tinder she did a mighty fine job.
For Dinner: Dad Grilled chicken thighs while mom made Fried potatoes. We always eat pretty good when we go camping.
For dessert we had Brownies! Dad is great with the dutch oven cooking.

It was Cold up in there so We all were bundled up and watched the Fire! The flames are like clouds...what pictures do you see in the flames?

Just sitting tight as Mom and Dad Pack up all the gear. Loving the view from the tailgate!

June and Gloom

June has been a pretty cool (temperature wise) month. Cloud coverage, cool breezes...a very pleasant for running around with a kid!. But the gloomy clouds (which I like) bring some gloomy moods. We think he was cryin' over spilt milk.

Oooohh such a sad face...!

Waaahhhaahaaaaaaaaaaa.........aaaaaaahhh!

The Weekend-Sat

Out of town visitors...Yippee! We like visitors specially when we havent seen them for awhile and they are out of towners. Our friends from Oregon came down to see us ( Mainly the little guy) and the big CITY. We had a long trek thru the city seeing the sights.

Trans America Building- distinguishable in the skyline.

Chinatown for dimsum....don't go to the Chinatown resturant!

Our Tour Guide took us through some pretty rough terrain.....Steep streets! This was a good part of our journey.... and we had been getting steeper...and steeper.

At the top of the hill I was able to see Alcatraz.

We got to see Cable Cars passing us on the incline and thought oh..if only we did not have the strollers. Then we came to Lombard Street Got about 1/2 way down and realized to get to Ghiradelli we'd have to go back up another hill so we best stop here and take pictures then go back up the crookedest/steepest hill!

Finally Down-Hill By then I was pooped. We rested at Ghiradelli square for feeding and potty breaks. Thie wind was cold and overcast so we had to keep bundled up.
