I'M EIGHT WEEKS

I'm Eight weeks old today these are some pictures from the last 2 weeks.

mom put a silly hat on my head to keep me warm since we had a few days and nights of rather cool weather. My hands and fingers at night would get cold so she also put socks on my hands! Glad you can't see how silly I look when she bundles me up for bed.

Dad set me on the chair and thought it was fun watching me get mad sna push myself around with my feet. I eventually rolled over! Wow that scared me. don't think I'll be trying that again any time soon.

Mommy Brought out all the doggies she's saved over the years. I was in Dog heaven. I guess these are going to be my friends for the next few years. There's "Tufts" & "dotty" & "Brutus"

I'm finally okay with bathtime.

We wanted to say "thank you" to all who have helped us during this last year. Advice, concern, help, a friendly ear, gifts, clothing, emails, help with names, necessities, meals, un-necessities (but nice to haves), and most of all love. We think we've finally got things down and then there is always a new issue...

Well the new issue was I lost for about a week my address book with all your contact info....so needless to say your thank you cards are shortly in the mail. I had to put all else aside and hunt till I found it otherwise it was gonna drive me bonkers! Oh and I found a cow that I thought I had lost. (Thanks Mike for looking for it at 8:00 at night.)

He's officially grown out of all the NB clothes...onto the next phase. It's really exciting and sad at the same time. Exciting that he is growing and progressing in many ways and sad that my little boy is growing so fast. I think I'm in denial. I'd hughim hoping that would keep him from growing......umm that doesn't work.

Bathtime

We are finally getting into a betime routine that includes a BATH! Little dude is calmer when the faucet is running, rather than being dunked into the sink. He's okay with getting his hair and head washed but the neck is still a struggle. After bath then he gets naked time , dressed, and winds down with dad.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 Fans

Kate is coming to Pleasant Hill!! She will be at the Borders book signing Friday, April 17th. So exciting....The parking lot to the Borders is so full as it is on a regular weekday, I can't imagine what it's gonna be like on a signing day....but hey they probably have signings all the time. I was just excited that something was happening in our little town.

exhaustion

It has been a week since all the hoopla over the baby blessing and I am still recouping from three days of family and not much sleep. I have been napping all week long. Staying in my pj's and just plain taking it easy. I've left the cooking responsibilities to the other adults in the house and pretty much have taken a back seat to the other responsibilities that I've had.

I have felt tense these past few days... my feet are achy and wondering when and where i've gotten these bug bites. I also have the feeling like i've forgotten something really important. Cant figure out what......so hopefully nothing too important.
