Last Picture in Utero

Dr. Appt on Tuesday, Dr. was thinking 'lil dude' is a good 7lbs....somthin somthin oz. She is worried about 'lil dude's" size and my size were not a good combination for natural birthing. So to confirm her fears she sent me to get an ultra sound to measure and check other needed info. He had a normal size head, about 7lbs. 12 oz. Cutting it pretty close to the 8lb. mark. He could grow that fast if we wait till due date..........so............... After much discussing and contemplating we are going to hurry things along. We go in Thursday evening to get things rolling.
Today we spent the day getting the last minute things done and ready. Also enjoyed dim sum together, took a nap...laundry, cleaning up the yard before the rain comes again.
We'll see you on the other side.

Dr. Appt

As of Friday things are looking bigger and better!
Size~Dialated to 1cm...... 46cm belly size
Baby Size~Dr. thinks about 7 lbs.
Sleep~ Getting in and out of bed is hard, so Saturday we lowered the box spring and mattress so I could just rollout and fall into bed. SHould have done this months ago! Still waking up at around 2:30 and can't go back to sleep for a few hours. Frustrating!
Appetite~Hungry all the time.
Mood~ask Michael.
Nesting~I guess, just getting the fridge/freezer stocked, house cleaned, bags packed, projects done, things bought and washed.

Catching you up

Since the last post lots has happened.
Superbowl Weekend Mike went Riding. He was allowed to go only if he proimsed to take it easy and not come home with ANY injuries that would affect his performance in the delivery room or the weeks leading up the delivery. He came in wonderful spirits with fun stories to tell about his setup, and riding with the Williams. Glad he could enjoy himself.
Two days later he calls me to ask..."where's the Dr's office?" "WHTAT the.... "was going thru my mind.... Mike never goes to the Dr. so when he's asking....Im a thinkin...this is bad....this is real bad. But he was as calm as a cucumber! He had gotten pierced like a shish-K-bob with a piece of RAZOR WIRE! Said he put his finger in the hole to stop the bleeding! (sigh)

Four stitches later and one painful Tetnus Shot! eeeew! He was a tough patient. The tetnus hurt more than the actual injury.

BABY CLASSES! The more you try to know about being a parent the more you realize that you know less than when you started! Feeding, pooping, bathing, breastfeeding, crying, swaddling.......who knew!
